Richard from Altrincham offers a rousing call to United legends to protect their legacy.
Manchester United has become a successful business because it is a great football club not the other way around.
Manchester United is an iconic name around the world because of what generations of players have achieved on the pitch and in the case of the Busby Babes sacrificed off it.
As a former United player you are part of a dynasty stretching from Meredith, through Edwards, Best, Law, Charlton, Robson, Cantona, Beckham Scholes, Giggs, Ronaldo and Rooney.
Without the ability to attract players like those neither Sir Matt nor SAF would be have been able to create legendary teams to play the magical football and stage the sensational dramatic comebacks which have built the unique aura of Manchester United.
Your legacy is now under threat. Maybe not next week or next month but progressively over the next few years.
Key players like Giggs, Scholes and Van der Sar will very soon have to be replaced. Every year the squad has to be replenished and you can be sure that the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona and the increasing number of English clubs owned by multi - billionaires will also be chasing those special talents.
The manager who follows SAF will have a mighty tough job in any circumstances. Under the Glazer's business model which treats supporters like walking cash machines and progressively prices longstanding supporters out of Old Trafford whilst simultaneously sucking out most of the profits it could well be mission impossible.
No football club even Manchester United can stay at the top without reinvesting the majority of its profits back into the club. That cannot possibly happen under the debt burden the Glazers have created. They are abusing the supporters' loyalty to the legend you helped create.
If you want to see a vibrant Old Trafford in 5, 10 or 15 years time - full of vocal passionate genuine supporters watching great teams and special players maintaining the legacy you helped create please lend your voice to the Green and Gold campaign.
Current players and staff cannot say what they really feel.
You can.
We need your help now to keep Manchester United where they belong. On the back page and off the business page!
Tony from Blackpool, a fan for nearly fifty years, is backing our campaign. Why don't you?
I have followed this club around the country for 46 years.
Although I was a bit too young to appreciate it at the time of the air disaster, my parents told me of men coming into my parent's pub in tears.
Shay Brennan held his wedding reception there.
United is in my blood and thankfully my children have followed the same route.
I tell them of the exploits of Law, Best, Charlton et al.
Queuing for hours outside the Stretford End so as not to get locked out.
The pain of relegation.
The exploits of Robson, Hughes; the list of names is endless.
They have seen the feats of Cantona and co to the great player of the present.
In all honesty it is wrong to name individual players because we are all UNITED and one can't work without the other, be it players on the field or fans off it.
Please help rid United of this debt.
Of course people who invest want a return on their money - they are businessmen - but to load the club with the debt is totally immoral and damaging.
These people have no idea what history is and what the club means to players and fans alike.
They only know of franchises - the American way. They have no soul so would not understand any of this.
UNI
TED FOREVER - keep the red flag flying high.
All fans of football, not just United fans are getting behind the campaign. Chris from Tadley in Hampshire is a Portsmouth fan who offers his support to MUST members uniting for change.
I'm not a Man Utd Supporter by rights. I'm an English/British football fan who follows my own team (don't laugh, but it's Portsmouth). What happened to us, could happen to Man Utd and as a fan of the game, I don't want that to happen. When Man Utd are in Europe, I support Utd as an English team and I'm proud to do so. I don't want to see a great English team go the way of the Leeds, the Newcastles, the Nottingham Forest and lately Portsmouth.
So for Man Utd's sake, and for the sake of English Football, it's time to stand up as English fans of our beloved game and be united in our support for Man Utd.
The sight of Beckham in his green and gold scarf shows just how much he cares about the club he loves and still adores. After watching his own team lose 4-0, he still had the courage and conviction to offer his support.
So whether you are a Man Utd supporter, or like me, a supporter of our game, let us all offer our support and help safeguard the game that we all love and follow:- English football is for the fans.
