Dear United legends, Last week's amazing victory over AC Milan will go down in our club's history. Not just for the thrilling perfomance by our team and the leadership shown by Sir Alex, but also for the thousands of true United fans in green and gold scalfs - with one of them resting on the shoulders of David Beckham. David courageously showed his true colours - he is a United fan to the core, and will always be part of the MUFC family. On behalf of United supporters everywhere, and the thousands of fans who haved added their names to this letter at action.joinmust.org/heroes we would like to express our deepest gratitide. Today we ask all former United players to unite under the green and gold banner. The movement for change is becoming unstoppable. We know that David is not alone. From Eric Cantona to Andrew Cole, former players are making their feelings known. We believe in a club where every supporter, every player and every employee owns a part of United, and has a voice.
